Mochidō has a high sense of morality and purpose, as he took the job of God of Destruction from his former mentor who was known as a tyrant. He takes his job seriously due to the fact that he had been trained and nurtured from the age of seven to eighteen to understand the importance of destruction. Therefore, this had a negative impact on Mochidō's social skills, making him more anti-social and callous.This had changed when he met a saiyan who challenged him, she had brought him back down from his high and mighty pedestal that almost corrupted him, just like his predecessor. He does tend to be naive and ignorant from time to time, but a pure heart nonetheless that would allow him to take the existing God of Destruction title in a whole new direction.

As Mochidō grew older, he began to show more a stoic and an aloof personality, due to his near two thousand year journey throughout his universe to serve as the God of Destruction of Universe 17.However, after certain events that happened, he began to show a cynical side as he judge people by their appearance and initial introductions.And yet, after creating a close enough bond with them, he would willingly show his true emotions, like the fact that he's much more ambitious, charming, and extroverted.
